Taking a look at the engine.

I have decided to take the engine entirely apart. Check out the transmission, bearings, paint the cases, etc. This is the first time that I will have taken a motorcycle engine down past the top end. I am kind of excited to do it , though, as I feel it will give me a much greater knowledge of how it all works.

I will give more info on these photos as I have time. Just wanted to post them while I was thinking of it.

Making a bit of progress.

As I am pretty slack about updating this blog, I need to get some photos up of how far I have gotten so far. Stripped the bike down a few weeks back, ready to start doing a bit of body work.

Free CA160!

Missing headlight bezel, ignition, and all wiring.

The only damage to any of the bodywork is on the bottom of the front fender. Easily fixable.

Missing Side cover, carb cover, chain cover and carb.

Missing side cover.

The guy that I got her from said he would try to l
ocate the tank. He thinks that he can get his hands on it shortly.

Needs a ton of work, but I am excited about the process!
